I just got to NY and went to visit a friend in Elmont. Got a bit hungry and saw this place on the map - hands down, had to stop for my Carib people! When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the friendliest staff, they gave us a rundown of the menu. Everything in the window looked mouth-wateringly DELICIOUS. We got the lunch special, which had an awesome low price. I also got a spinach patty and a veggie patty. They even convinced us to try an Irish moss and peanutt drink (SOOO GOOD). You will definitely catch me here again, not just for the food, but for the family atmosphere!

I have eaten at this establishment since it has opened, and the food has always been delicious and the staff very accommodating and friendly. I always get the plantains and ox tails and the meat always falls off the bone effortlessly, and the rice is always cooked to perfection. Don't even get me started on the plantains!
In addition to the main courses, they also have a great & delicious selection of ice cream flavors and drinks. With a clean and friendly atmosphere, great food, and great service what more can you ask for? -

They have the best Jamaican food in Elmont. My husband never likes to spend money on food. He bought the family dinner tonight (family of 4) and spent $30, this was the first time he hasn't complained about spending that much money.
My husband and children had stewed chicken with rice and I had jerk chicken with peas and rice. I would eat that over and over again. My husband demolished his food and once again didn't complain (he complains about everything lol).
Their food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. I didn't give them five stars because their prices are on the expensive side. My recommendation is if you don't feel like cooking and have some money to spend, save washing dishes time and get something from here. You won't regret it. -

They just opened shy of one week and the welcome has been exceptional.
The food is true authentic Jamaican food without any compromise. You need to visit. I am still licking my fingers. I def recommend the jerk wings. Finger licking good -

The food is nasty. Ordered dinner and the shrimp were tough and over cooked. Ordered there a second time to give them a chance and the meat wasn't fully cooked. Nasty!
